Beyond Forgiving – The Courage to Cross the Divide
Join a Townsville community screening of Beyond Forgiving, followed by a live, in-person conversation with South African author and peacebuilder Letlapa Mphahlele.

The documentary follows Ginn Fourie and Letlapa Mphahlele, whose lives became connected through tragedy during the final years of apartheid in South Africa. Their later encounter explores forgiveness, responsibility, justice and our shared humanity.
After the screening, Letlapa will share his reflections and answer audience questions. Everyone is welcome to this evening of film, storytelling and conversation.
